INTERIORS

800 Fifth Avenue

We were honored to take part in the renovation of this apartment on Fifth Avenue in Upper East Side, New York City. Our client Yanina Fuertes, a trustee of Parrishman Museum, entrusted us with creating the perfect backdrop for her remarkable art collection. Warm, feminine tones, comfortable yet sophisticated furniture and thoughtfully curated spaces allow the artwork – and the breathtaking views – to take center stage, sparking conversation and inspiring her family and friends who visit.

In the dining room, the neutral texture of our “Dots” embroidery is in conversation with the Roy Lichtenstein painting on the wall. While in the living room, the stripes of Donald Judd vibrate with our beaded “Chevron” decorative pillow.

Subtle tones and soft textures bring coziness to this New York City penthouse bedroom.

Sancerre

Combray was entrusted with the decoration and furnishing of this 18th century home located in the charming village of Sancerre.

The residence, renovated by French architect Pierre David, was done respecting the home’s historical character, while creating a modern and inviting space that opens to the courtyard. Two of our designs have been adapted into large panoramic wall paintings.

In the living room, we custom-designed a rug with abstract colored flowers that provide a pleasant contrast to the minimalist wood paneling surrounding the antique fireplace. Above the fireplace hangs an embroidered painted canvas, adding a thoughtful decorative element.
